Speech & Language Screenings at Haupt Preschool
Is your child’s speech on track? Find out with a quick speech and language screening!
The Speech Source is excited to partner with Haupt Preschool to offer speech & language screenings for students. Screenings are $20 per child and take place during the school day during the week of September 22.
A screening helps determine if a full evaluation or speech therapy services are needed, both of which can be done at Haupt during the school day or at our speech therapy clinic outside of preschool hours.
What’s Included:
15-20 minute observation and interaction with your child while playing and talking with a speech language pathologist
Discussion with your child’s teacher regarding overall understandability and communication in the classroom
Screening report with results and information about how to work on any areas of concern at home
If further assessment is needed, the speech language pathologist will call to discuss options
